Having a chronic illness comes with so much you have to pay attention to. Especially at the beginning of your journey or when you’re undiagnosed, you may not know what your body’s limits are, what activities or treatments make things better or worse, or what your flare-up triggers are. And even if you have figured those things out, you still need to keep track of them long-term.

**While it’s not a magic or one-size-fits-all solution, the #1 most effective thing for me in learning my limits and managing my chronic illness has been personal tracking.**

Having this record of what my body’s doing and what might have impacted it is how I learned what foods I can and can’t eat, how hard to “push myself” before I push too hard, and more to ultimately reduce and prevent flare-ups.
